A Stroll Around Old FreckenhamYou are invited to take a gentle stroll around the village of Freckenham as it would have looked seventy to a hundred years ago. It was never a pretty village but it was picturesque. Sadly, many of its charming old cottages were demolished during the 1960s drive towards modernisation, which destroyed much of our architectural heritage. This old postcard, probably taken in the 1930s, gives a taste of some of the places we shall visit . So if you are ready we will take the first steps...
