Visit www.22villages.org for plenty of seasons greetings and snow but sadly no mince pies! At least we can give you a virtual white Christmas! On behalf of Forest Heath District Council and all the 22villages team, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Noticeboard reminder
Stuck for an idea?, need some advice from an expert? Then can I encourage you all to visit the 22village noticeboard and get involved. The more this is used the more benefit it will have to your community's project. Thanks JOE

Help for Redundant Buildings
ACRE will be conducting a survey of all redundant buildings in the Forest Heath District. Benefits to local communities from the survey could include more local jobs and businesses and improvements to the local environment and range of community facilities. Do you or your Parish Council know of any buildings, which are redundant or no longer fully required for their previous use? Then contact Cynthia Schears, Community Development Officer, Suffolk ACRE (01473) 406185

Open Meeting Wed 15 December, 7.30pm FINAL REMINDER
This is being hosted by Dalham, at their village hall and the guest speaker is David Cleveland, Director of East Anglian film Archive. "What film archivists in 2050 would have wanted us to record!!" is the title of his talk and it will be accompanied by short films from some of the 22villages and the surrounding area. Mince pies will be supplied.

Cheap Community Computers
Some 22village communities have asked if we could source some cheap internet ready PCs to allow them to enjoy the full benefit of the project. It may be possible to refurbish some second hand PCs and make these available for around £60. BUT before we do it would be helpful to know how many communities would be interested? Also would a future Open Evening focusing on basic computer skills be of use? - Do let us know pc_idea@22villages.org
