Use the Noticeboard...
|
You now have your own village noticeboard... on the internet. Use it to ask for help and advice, keep others informed of events and ... anything you would normally put on a notice board. To use it, go to the www.22villages.org main page, click on the noticeboard then you will see the screen opposite. Clicking on any notices or replies on the board will show their contents on the right. If you wish to reply to any notices, click on [Reply] at the top. To 'put up' a new notice click on [Post], remember to summarise your notice in the Subject line as that will be all people see (initially) on the noticeboard. Replies and messages can take up to 10 mins to appear. Could I ask that everyone checks the noticeboard once a week, that way it will become a great way of getting and receiving support/advice/ideas etc. We will also be recruiting historians and other experts to visit regularly. So if you need anything (heritage-wise), stick up a notice. If you are looking for information on a particular subject you can quickly check all messages using the [Search] facility. Finally unlike real notices you don't have to take them down, they just move further down the list!
