Final Call for Community Map Initiative
Last Chance to have your community's tithe or inclosure maps professionally photographed and scanned. Herringswell, Mildenhall,
Kentford, Moulton, Elveden, Freckenham and Santon Downham have all asked for their Tithe and Inclosure Maps to be photographed and made available on their web sites. Any other communities that wish to take advantage of this unique additional opportunity should let Joe know by 10th September. This opportunity may not be available again.

Vote on our future - 22village Poll
There is now an online way to tell us what you see the future of Forest Heath's 22villages project. Simply go online to www.22villages.org. click one or more of the voting buttons and then press vote. You can also click on [Comments] to add any other thoughts. Your views will be passed on to the Council who will be deciding on the projects future soon. So make yourself heard!!

New Pages Added
Recent additions to the 22villages web include a new timeline for Moulton, a talking memories section at Elveden and Herringswell's USAF talk. Check them out and send any comments to the village teams. We are asking that temporarily no more pages be sent for publication on the web and that all teams now finalise their 4 page contribution to the 22village book. The project coordinator will be contacting you shortly to confirm that these will all be ready by the end of the month. If you need extra time please contact Joe ASAP

Record Office Temporary Closure
The Bury St Edmunds Branch of the Suffolk Record Office will be closed from Saturday 18th November 2000 to Saturday 6th January 2001 inclusive for essential maintenance and repair of the mobile shelving and floor in the main strong room.
They will continue to answer postal, telephone, fax and e-mail enquiries during the closure. However, it will not unfortunately be possible to offer access to archival material, and they will not be able to answer questions involving original documents until they reopen (hopefully) on Monday 8th January 2001.
